GARMIN,s breakthrough MultiTrac technology provides a performance
advantage over other receivers in its class. MultiTrac tracks up
to 8 satellites and uses the information from all satellites tracked
in its position and navigation computations. In addition, GARMIN's
quadrifilar antenna and advanced receiver design provide sensitive,
horizon-to-horizon coverage to lock onto satellites that other
receivers may miss.
Among the MultiTrac advantages are unsurpassed position accuracies
(single-fix or averaged). Lock and load your position fix fast with
typical times to first fix (warm) of 20 seconds or less (for 3D
positions). A continuous 1-second update rate keeps up with
fast-moving vehicles. The GPS 100MIL dynamic capability handles

The GPS 100MIL is the smallest, lightest, handheld military GPS
receiver. at 25 ounces (including batteries) and about the size of a
paperback book, it is easy to carry anywhere. The combat-ready
carrying case slides onto the belt or slings over the
shoulder for easy portability and use.
Adaptable to any platform
The GPS 100MIL has power and mounting capabilities for use in ground
vehicles, fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft, or aboard ship.
A gimbal mounting bracket is available for quick
installation in a vehicle or aircraft.
The attached antenna can receive signals through vehicle or aircraft
windows for fast, flexible usage. For optimum performance, external
antennas designed for marine, aviation, and land use are easily
attachable. Multiple power sources include an alkaline battery pack,
rechargeable NiCad battery pack, 10 to 33 VDC, and 110/220 VAC.
